Hi, Welcome to Martinez Bookkeeping!


My name is Darlene Martinez, and I am a Senior bookkeeper from Fresno, California.  I started my business with basic values that have greatly impacted my upbringing.  One of the main ideas I hold high for my business is to do unto others what I would want done to myself. 


Honesty is essential in a business relationship. My clients appreciate the ease with which they can talk to me without feeling censored. They want to maximize their tax credits, but at the same time, they don't want to break the law. As a bookkeeper, I help both new and experienced business owners understand that we can work together to achieve their financial goals, but it all starts with being completely honest with each other. I use my knowledge to find ways to help my clients save money while staying within the law. Trust is another crucial value that I uphold. Both parties must trust each other for us to work together effectively. I trust my clients to provide me with the necessary documents, and in turn, I show them that I am loyal and have no intentions of taking advantage of them. I value building strong business relationships with my clients. While we may not be friends, it's essential that we have a basic understanding of each other and work well together. Communication is the key to all of the values mentioned above. I understand that not everyone has time to communicate regularly, so I make it easy for my clients to let me know if they have any issues or how they prefer to receive their monthly reports.


As a Bookkeeper, I strive to serve one business at a time with the aim of providing them with meaningful data, rather than just numbers at the end of the month. By doing so, my goal is to help businesses make informed and smart decisions that will lead to their financial growth. Ultimately, I aspire to help my community in the future and contribute to those who need it the most.
